In opening my Head Spa, I decided to provide a unique experience by investing in the very best equipment handmade in Japan by Takara Belmont - the developer of the Yume Head Spa technique.

I have since also become the Exclusive Head Spa Educator for Takara Belmont in Australia.

With the Head Spa concept expanding in Australia - I have created ‘Academy’ which will provide training and guidance for those who choose to pursue this wonderful line of work.

I partner with Australia’s leading medical specialists in Dermatology & Alopecia to provide my guests with the latest science-backed advice..

Varsana is a special place I’ve created and I look forward to sharing my space with you should you wish to visit.

Opening this Head Spa in May of 2023 has been the most amazing experience - suffering from my own hair loss since 2010, I know the pain and frustrating of these complicated disorders.

Frustrated with what help was available on the market, I explored various clinics, trichologists and hair loss centres looking for answers - yet all I received was expensive long treatments in the thousands.

It was during my time in Japan I discovered the wonderful concept of a Head Spa and in conjunction with my own knowledge of hair and scalp disorders whilst being a qualified Hairdresser - I decided that it was an amazing opportunity to truly help those back in Australia who have been seeking information about their own hair and scalp concerns.

I founded Varsana, ‘rainfall’ in Sanskrit after my deep love for India - after travelling there many times in my twenties.

  • I trained in Tokyo and frequently travelled to Japan as the Exclusive Australian Educator for Takara Belmont Japan, the founder of the Yume Head Spa Method.

    During these trips, I frequent other Head Spas and partake in training and expos to further my skills and knowledge.

  • Head Spa in a private location in West End, exclusively run by myself this allows me to provide my guests with an exclusive experience unlike no other in Brisbane.

    I take great pride in my work and the experiences I create for my guests.

    You are at the centre of everything I do and I look forward to sharing my passion with you.

  • Through my knowledge of Trichology (Science of Hair) I can provide you support for existing Hair & Scalp Concerns.

    These include but are not limited to Male & Female Pattern Baldness, Alopecia, Dandruff, Eczema, Psoriasis, Folliculitis & Diffuse Hair Loss.

    Although I provide support, I refer and work closely with some of Australia’s leading Dermatologists who can provide you with a medical diagnosis for complicated hair disorders.

  • Due to our busy lifestyles, device usage, stress and fatigue contribute to muscle tension by receiving a Head Massage, I use techniques taught to me in Japan by Leading Head Spa Artisan, Yamasaki Tatsuya.

    This provides you with relief from scalp, neck and shoulder tension.

  • Mental Health awareness is increasing in Australia, a visit to a Head Spa can be wonderful for the reduction of Anxiety and Depression.

    Through the use of sensory stimulation, I promote a sense of warmth and calm allowing you to fully relax.

    Many people upon visiting will fall asleep during their Ritual, this is normal and may enhance the affects of the Head Spa.

  • I only use the finest in Head Spa equipment, custom made by Takara Belmont and imported direct from Japan

  • We understand that plans change, so we allow our guests to reschedule their appointments easily online through their profile.

    If you choose to cancel rather than reschedule your appointment, your booking fee will be credited to your profile and can be used with any future ritual.

    If you would like the amount refunded, please get in touch with us at reservations@varsana.com.au, and we will gladly assist you.

  • Absolutely. So as long as you have followed all directions by your GP & OB/GYN and are 27 weeks or less. we would be delighted to welcome you. Please ensure you notify us of your pregnancy on our consultation form sent to you before visiting.

    We may have to change some techniques used during the ritual to create a safe experience for you and your baby.

    For our guests who are pregnant 28 weeks or greater, we are unable to look after you due to the zero degree nature of our bed.

  • Although I am not Japanese, I was trained in Japan, and all my equipment has been sourced and manufactured by Takara Belmont.
